The PVD finishes of Copper, Gold Brass and Gunmetal is a process involving the production of a thin film or coating to create a lasting and extremely durable surface. It is twice as hard as stainless steel and does not require a final coating, therefore eliminating any possibility of corrosion or tarnishing. All AXIX™ sinks have a protective coating on the underside known as Insusound® which insulates and helps retain the heat of the water in the sink whilst also reducing noise if a waste disposal unit is fitted.
